CONNOTECH Experts-conseils Inc. is a small and specialized consulting and R&D firm. The firm focus is on information security and payment systems. CONNOTECH owns the intellectual property rights of the SAKEM procedure ("SAKEM" stands for Secret Authentication Key Establishment Method). CONNOTECH was founded by Mr. Thierry Moreau in 1985.

Mr. Thierry Moreau, B.Sc., MBA, is from Montréal, Québec, Canada. In 1979, he graduated from the University of Montréal in computer science, which he still practices as a consultant and high technology entrepreneur. In 1983, he completed his higher education with an MBA degree in finance.
During his professional activities, Mr. Thierry Moreau developed many new applications of advanced technologies. Starting in the emerging word processor industry, he moved on to industrial process automation at large industrial sites (notably an aluminum melting plant). The telecommunications field attracted his attention in 1987 as a fertile ground for niche market opportunities. He designed distributed computer applications and consulted with several telecommunications equipment manufacturers. He became involved with the fax-enabling-technologies by developing of a new product, a fax concentrator. This product was completed in 1993 and is now being exported to several countries in America, Europe, and Asia. After this project, he decided to dedicate himself to opportunities in the field of information security. In his work, Mr. Thierry Moreau values research for knowledge from primary sources, and an interdisciplinary approach to meet user requirements.
