A Secret Access Key Is a Secret, Period!

With the SAKEM implied security model, a secret access key is a secret, period!

The SAKEM implied security model is an overall organization of a security application suggested by the SAKEM procedure which, by itself, addresses only the initialization of a security relationship. According to this model, the application security is based on secrets (cryptographic keys and/or passwords) which must be kept in confidence by end-users for their own protection and for the overall system well-being. This user view of security etiquette has been around for decades in the financial industry, and there is no alternative which can be explained so briefly.
